It was 33 degrees outside and about 43 degrees in Bill's tin shed where all my equipment is currently stored. It was fricken hot. I was in and out in about an hour and ten minutes. I love the low bar squat, powerlifting style, but it's a killer on my shoulders. The 200 felt okay but I'm stopping myself from going heavier until I'm confident the bar is moving at a decent speed. I'm not far off. I've included every set just so people like Humby stop assuming I'm doing three or four sets and sitting around reading Women's Day for the majority of the time.

At the gym tonight – Franko, Bill, Linden, myself and new bloke Alex.
We stuffed around for the first ten minutes and then finally built up some decent momentum and energy. I got to a 140 front squat again and left it there. My mid week session has evolved to be a front squat followed by a conventional deadlift up to a semi-heavy weight. Then bench. I'm enjoying it. Felt pretty knackered at the end of this workout though. Could be Joey's ridiculous idea to get me running a crossfit circuit on Sunday. Here's a video I found just to piss her off a bit (although I bet she's got at least a few PT clients who fit this profile.)
It's pretty funny actually. I've heard a lot of these comments after training people over several years (from men and women).

Reading women's mags at the gym is nothing to be ashamed of; you've gotta do something in between sets. Just conceal the covers with your training log or towel.
Bahahaha... Im stealing this. Sorry, but you didn't piss me off. Its just so true, I think I may have even said one or two of those things before, knowing that they weren't true, but knowing the person I said it to would agree. Like ' Its ok if I eat this, I'm going for a run tomorrow.' haha
