6k Of Pain - Joey
Yesterday I told myself I would get up at 7am and kill my first 6km time, however, after working last night and my pager going off two times before 5, my alarm was switched off at 7 and I slept til 830.
So my first plan was out the window. When I eventually got motivated to run my pager went off again 2 more times - so it was about 11.40 before I finally got time to go for this run.
My legs were in pain from yesterday, so I spent about 20 mins stretching before my run. (This did not help, not one bit) I set off anyway and dug as deep as I could. I nearly throw up twice. lol I kept going though.
I managed to finish my run 25 seconds faster than monday. Not a massive improvement but its something. My fastest K was 4.40 and my slowest 5.59. I will try again on Monday!
