RD
Have been training since early teens and powerlifting for about 10 years. I learned the most and was at my best with the insanely strong crew at Elite Sports Performance.
My best lifting was done at ESP with competition numbers - Squat 325kg, Bench 207.5kg, Deadlift 300kg. These are equipped numbers.
Family and time restraints have prevented me from getting in to ESP and I am now training a my own backyard Gym in Reservoir. I've decked it out with a Power Rack (made by friend Scott Mclean, a second power rack donated by ESP, a bench, a T-bar Row, a Glute Ham Raise, a Reverse Hyper (another donation from ESP), several bars and about 280kg of weights. We are currently building and living with the in-laws so the gym has been moved temporarily to the garage of friend Bill (thanks Bill).
The regular members of RD's Gym are Dads in their 30's trying to lift themselves above average into the realm of the semi-strong. We're also trying to stay active and have a regular opportunity to hang shit on each other.
My goals are to keep getting stronger. I want to improve the raw numbers below. I am currently following Jim Wendler's 531 routine for it's simplicity and effectiveness. I am training raw (without competitive suits) and not competing in the near future but that could change once life settles down a bit.
Personal Bests: Squat 240kg | Bench 180kg | Deadlift 272.5kg
